Honor a good man

One of my Homies passed today here is something I wrote in honor.

Rush of the wind

Change of the gears

Redline to the max
vroom vroom
blow of whistles
vroom vroom


Cars, trees all are a blur
moments are lost
rush of the wind
broken white lines
become solid once more
just one more turn
just one more lift
adrenelin pumpin
this is the fix
an adiction
a love
a lifestyle
a passion
all here


and then all gone.....

One thing I’ve come to realize is that the phrases and widely accepted philosophies is wrong. "Love conquers all," and "Love is the most powerful force in the universe" are both completely wrong. Love, all things considered, is fairly weak and sometimes love just isn’t enough. Sad thing is, I’ve determined what the most powerful force is.

Death.

Death conquers all. Death is the most powerful force in the universe.

Love just makes staring down the barrel of Death a lot more bearable, but in the end, Death will always win.

I am truly sorry Death has once again won, and I am sorry it has happened in your life, Anji, but remember: How we deal with life is at least as important as how we deal with Death. Remember your friend's life, for that was the most important part of who he was.

He's not really dead, you know. Not as long as you remember him.

Know I always had a belief.

I was born a warrior, so I'll die fighting.

And when death comes to take me, I'll bite his fucking throat out.

Anji sorry to hear about your loss, most we can do is honor the dead appropriately and hope they get to the right place.

Thank you all for your replies. Tyler was laid to rest Monday and he will never be forgotten. I know he is in a better place and is safe from the world and things to come. All of us here will meet him again one day.
